San Antonio is set to host the 2025 NCAA Men’s Final Four, and whether you’re a die-hard basketball fan or just looking for a fun, family-friendly event, there are plenty of FREE activities happening around the Alamo City! From live music to team rallies and interactive experiences, here’s your ultimate guide to enjoying Final Four weekend to end March Madness without spending a dime.
NCAA March Madness Music Festival (April 4-6)
Location: Tower Park at Hemisfair
Get ready for a three-day festival featuring live performances from some of the biggest names in music. This event is free and open to all, making it the perfect way to kick off your Final Four experience. At this time the performers have not ben announced however, you can expect them to be big names! When I had the opportunity to attend this event in 2018 and we got to see Maroon 5, Imagine Dragons, and Jason Aldean all perform! Those are all artists that sell out stadiums for hundreds of dollars a ticket. Not bad for a free concert!

Reese’s Men's Final Four Friday (April 4)
Location: Alamodome | Starts at 10 AM
Watch the Final Four teams take the court for open practice sessions. The event wraps up with the Reese’s NABC All-Star Game at 3:30 PM, featuring top college seniors from across the country.

Final Four River Rally (April 5)
Location: San Antonio River Walk | 11 AM
Experience a unique pep rally on the water as team bands and cheer squads float down the river on decorated barges. This San Antonio-exclusive event is a must-see.

Final Four Dribble presented by Buick (April 6)
Location: Travis Park | Starts at 8 AM
Kids 18 and under can be part of a basketball parade, dribbling through downtown for free. Each registered participant will receive an official basketball and T-shirt.

Final Four Tip-Off Tailgate presented by Nissan (April 4-7)
Location: Civic Park at Hemisfair
